Development associaiton NERDA participated in a three-day training titled "Marketing and Communications in the Tourism Sector," which was held from October 28 to 30, 2025, in the Municipality of Nijemci, Republic of Croatia, as part of the Pannonia-Adria Connection II (PA.CON II) project.

The training was focused on strengthening participants' knowledge and skills in destination branding, digital promotion, and high-quality communication with guests. Over the three days, representatives from the public and tourism sectors, hospitality, and private crafts from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, and Montenegro had the opportunity to learn how to transform social networks into a powerful tool for promoting tourist destinations and accommodation capacities.

Through a combination of theoretical lectures and practical workshops, the participants covered the key phases of a successful communication strategy – from defining goals and ideal guests, through creating engaging content and utilizing digital tools, to advertising, collaboration, and analytics.

Participation in this training contributed to strengthening the capacity of participants in promoting sustainable and competitive tourism in the cross-border area.

The PA.CON II project is co-financed by the Interreg VI-A IPA CBC Programme Croatia – Bosnia and Herzegovina – Montenegro 2021–2027, with funds from the European Union’s ERDF and IPA III funds. The project implementation began on September 1, 2024, and will last for 27 months.
