Sixteen representatives of the key stakeholders, including tourism organizations, tour operators, businesses operating in the tourism sector as well as the members of the Open-Air Everywhere Project team (PT) from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina are participating at the ITB Tourism Fair, held from March 5-7, 2024 in Berlin.
The ITB Tourism Fair is the world’s leading travel trade show with around 10,000 exhibitors from more than 180 countries and regions. It is a place where the cities, tour operators, booking system developers, airlines, hotels and other businesses concerned with tourism introduce themselves and their services and is one of the major centers of attraction for the tourism industry which influences travel experiences worldwide.
It provides the participating stakeholders from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina with the platform to promote their businesses and services to a large number of the ITB guests and visitors but also an opportunity for networking and organization of B2B meetings with potential business partners.
The opportunity is used to promote Project outcomes and activities with focus on the open-air concept of tourism and the joint CBC sites in both countries.
Participation at the ITB Fair is one of the activities of the “New Open-air Sites for Better Quality of Tourism Products -Open-Air Everywhere!” Project, jointly implemented by the Development Association NERDA, the City of Tuzla, the Tourist Board of the City of Tuzla and the Tourism Organization of the Western Serbia. The Project was financed within the third call of the Cross-Border Cooperation Program Serbia - Bosnia and Herzegovina 2014 - 2020 (IPA II) co-financed by the European Union.
