Members of the NERDA project team participated at the second study-tour, which was held in Karlsruhe (Germany) on July 18-20, 2022 in organization of the Project partner Steinbeis 2i GmbH. It provided an opportunity for participants to excahnge the practical and scientific knowledge and experience in involvement of Creative and Cultural Industries in (sub)urban regeneration projects. During the study tour, participants were able to visit some of the major actors in CCI including the local companies Heyvie and Get Messy Art, the Cultural and Creative office of Karlsruhe (K3), the co-working space SteamWork and the Center for Art and Media (ZKM) in Karlsruhe. During the visit, the photo challenge has been organized when the participants were asked to take pictures of the visited CCI actors under the moto „Creative Danurban Development“ and download them at the virtual gallery, hosted on the project website, to be used as a platform for further development of strategic documents in CCI sector. The study tour is one of the activities implemented within the RESTART_ 4 Danube Project, financed through the Interreg Danube Transnational Programme, co-financed by the european Union funds (ERDF, IPA, ENI).
