The Association for Development NERDA has officially joined the IntegrAGE project consortium and has begun implementing this project, funded through the Interreg Danube Transnational Programme and co-financed by European Union funds (ERDF, IPA, ENI).
The IntegrAGE project aims to support the healthy integration of older adults (55+) into the labor market by using their knowledge and helping them adapt to the challenges of modern work environments. The goal is to increase their participation, prevent unwanted early retirement, and extend their working life.
By strengthening their specialized skills and competencies, IntegrAGE seeks to retain their knowledge and years of experience within the economy—whether through internal training within companies or mentorship outside their organizations.
To achieve the project's objectives, a series of activities have been designed to produce key results:
Country-specific analyses to identify challenges in employing individuals aged 55+.
Recommendations for national employment policies concerning this age group.
A strategy and action plan for the healthy integration of older workers into the labor market.
The formation of a stakeholder network to promote comprehensive age management within companies.
An internal trainer training program and a game-based learning concept for managing an aging workforce.
Awareness campaigns and events to promote the topic on a broader scale.
A self-assessment tool to identify skill gaps among workers aged 55+.
A tailored training program to bridge skill gaps, improve adaptability, and reduce resistance to change.
A mentorship program to encourage knowledge and experience sharing between generations.
Through these activities, the project aims to ensure that the experience and knowledge of older workers remain a valuable resource for companies and the wider economy.
