Development Association NERDA held an educational workshop in Ugljevik that cover the topic of quality control and food processing in cooperation with the Women's Association Rudar in Ugljevik. Professor Husejin Keran presented the significance of the importance of good hygienic practices in food production, and sanitary-technical measures in production.

Training was attended by 12 women from Ugljevik within the project aiming to strengthen the capacity of women in rural areas of northeastern Bosnia and Herzegovina, which was financially supported by the United States Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
